Rae began her decent into the blog world via WordPress in the fall of 2004. Not having the funds to hire anyone to do design her a one of a kind wordpress theme of her own she was forced to learn how to do it herself. After years of reading, researching, and doing (sometimes failing and falling flat on her face, other times being the hero of a ticker-tape parade of success) she has learned much when it comes to theme design and customization.

When her beloved hosting company sold their business to another individual and she saw it was going down-hill, Rae decided to leave the world of paid hosting on someone else’s server and “bought” one of her own. It was a much better economical situation for her to do this than to pay for hosting of the various businesses she runs via the web. Rae had enough space to allow a friend or two to host their sites and this was the beginning of GreenTreeWeb. Once GreenTreeWeb was born (over a year ago) she was not quite ready to announce to the world what she could offer it. Now, with more learning about the hosting aspects (thanks to those wonderful guinea pig friends) she has a handle on exactly what is required and needed to run a blog and small business web hosting company.
