Rediscovering Worship
Rev. Bankson was looking to create an online magazine with forums and some private info for members only. Using photographs we took at the church where he is currently leading worship and pastoring I edited the photos for to create a banner which spoke to the theme of the magazine’s content as well as to the reverence for how he views worship.

I took other photos to represent the various categories of topics he covers in his articles. We installed the wp-ecommerce plugin with the gold cart and members only modules. We also set up his forum using Simple:Press Forum and customized a theme to go with that layout.

The theme Rediscovering Worship is using is the Options theme by Justin Tadlock. Our customization is listed in the Showcase section of his theme website.

Moggie’Shop

Moggie’Shop
Moggie wanted her shop to match her blog but be different in it’s own way - brighter colors. So we used the same theme, Breaking News 1.0. The theme was tweaked for color, images, and width like her personal blog. The header contains photos of some of her products. We implemented the wp-ecommerce plugin to give her a shopping cart via a WordPress installation.

Moggie’Spot

Moggie’Spot
Moggie is using the Breaking News 1.0 theme. The theme was tweaked for color, images, and width as well as a new scrapbook style banner replacing the world image in the header background. Moggie wanted a brown and blue theme based on the scrapbook elements she chose.

Living In The Tension

Living in the Tension
Chef at Living in the Tension has a favorite color and that favorite color is orange. She is using the Oh So Very template and really just wanted to tweak the color to highlight the orange favorite and get up a personal banner. I changed the shade of the background and created a little banner to run down the sidebar.

The color change and banner were made during a quick chat session one afternoon when we both had a few minutes of time on our hands.

Disclaimer: Chef et al are family friends so the color change, banner creation and implementation into the sidebar.php file were done out of friendship and the price of a cup of coffee.

Cancerman

We will start with Cancerman. Cancerman “drew” his own digital self (I suspect he did it in the Windows paint program) and sent me the file and asked me to put it up as his blog banner. He is using the Gone Fishing 1.0 theme on his blog and I simply replaced the theme header with Cancerman’s lovely self-portrait.

Photo Editing

Do you have photos you would like to use in your Etsy shop or elsewhere? Are your pictures good, but need just a little extra? You take a good photos but you don’t have any editing software or the time right now as your busy getting other business items ready?

Then this is what you need.

Here is one photo edited numerous ways to give you a beginning idea of what I can do for you.

This is the straight out of the camera shot. I only resized and added my watermark.

First edit. It has been cleaned up and defined just a bit.

Second edit. It really “pops” with these effects.

Third edit.

Fourth edit. This is a great example of the kind of detail that can be captured with high quality, high resolution photos.

All of these edits, as well as all of my personal photos, have my own watermark on them. Any edits that are done to your photos will not have my watermark on them. If you have your own watermark that you would like me to use I will gladly use it on your photos.
